 So Melodic Enterprises was founded in 2004 in Wichita, Kansas by LaMeshia Shaw. It was originally named "MeshiaMart," and focused on selling household decor items, and LaMeshia performing as an artist. In 2008 the company changed its name to So Melodic Enterprises in Macon, Georgia, where the owners name was also then changed to Tanimowo via marriage. There are numerous businesses under the umbrella of So Melodic including, Dignified Jewels & Accessories, Author LaMeshia, LaMeshia Melodic, Beauty For Ashes, Write Up The World, & TDT. The many divisions of business is what prompted the change to evolve to "Enterprises."
